Mesothelioma Awareness Day: Standing in Solidarity with Victims
Today, on Mesothelioma Awareness Day, we stand in solidarity with those affected by this relentless cancer. Asbestos exposure can silently haunt lives, often remaining dormant for decades before revealing its devastating impact. Mesothelioma, an aggressive and incurable cancer, is one of the heart-wrenching consequences. We believe in the power of awareness and unity to bring about change. By shedding light on this disease, we can ensure that those facing a mesothelioma diagnosis know they are not alone. Together, we can advocate for support, treatment, and justice for those affected
What is Mesothelioma?
Mesothelioma is a cancer of the thin lining of tissue that covers your internal organs, the mesothelium. The most common type of mesothelioma is pleural mesothelioma, a cancer affecting the lining of the lungs. There are rarer types of mesotheliomas affecting the linings of the abdomen, testicles, and heart. Mesothelioma is aggressive and incurable, but treatments and other help are available.
